So I wanted to talk about King Kong...

Despite having owned the movie since it was released, I just now got around to seeing it, and I think I missed the first hour anyway. It was on TV, and I wandered in right at the point where they landed on the island. I have to admit, I was amused. So lets get started.

Firstly, these guys cracked me up. They were all, "YOU CANT CATCH ME SUCKAH!" and would just start smashing skulls man. Little kid was all *points* " you're screwed." Of course he said it with his eyes, which jack black thought meant he wanted the snickers bar or whatever that was in his pocket. (click the image for a bigger view)

Then, what was with EVERY creature on that island wantin' that lady. I mean, seriously, wth. Yeah she's blonde and skinny but what the hell, there was even a scene where this T-Rex was all tangled in a vine and lookin' at her like, " ....hellllooooo." *Swings her way*

Even King Kong was all ooga ooga over her. I mean, here, look: Soooooomebodys got his attention. I kind of like my own personal monologue better though. In my mind she's all, " AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" in that super high pitch scream she does, and he's all, " Bitch, will you shut the fuck up for just one moment please. I am trying to make an entrance--" At which point she is shamed and speaks no more for the rest of the movie.

You do end up feeling bad for him towards the end though cause you're just all, " awww....big ape loves the silly bit." Theres even what would be considered a romance scene between her and the ape, where he is more or less flirting and playing and rolling in the snow, and she's all " Tee hee" and just basically giggling like a little school girl. It's all fine and well until, ya know, the army shows up and fires a bomb at his ass. That usually ruins a good first date, no matter what species.

There was also another good scene where he was bustin' up NYC and was lookin' for the girl ("Beauty") and was pickin up every blonde chick he saw, checkin to see if it was her, then was just all *chunks* lolz. Yeah, good stuff :3

Buttttttttttttt so yeah, this bit right here is the reason he goes through so much pain and suffering to all you animal rights activist out there. Or, if you just dont like blondes. Here you go. Direct your hate, here:

I had to recently buy myself a dress for an interview because I have no nice clothes here at the Tree House, and I bought myself a retro inspired dress similiar to the one up above. Only it has a pink slash to wrap around my waist. Its super cute and I will take pictures~

Today is going to be a good day ~.^

I've decided that today is just going to be a good day ^__^ It's already been pretty awesome so far, and I've only been awake for maybe three hours. Even though I have a lot of homework to do today, I'm going to work extra hard to get it all done, so that I can enjoy my day off tomorrow. There's the slight prediction of a circus trip in the future that I have to look forward to ~.^

The best one is Mean Bean so far, featured in the center, but I just heard today that they've got two new flavors out that I can't wait to try...Irish Blend, and Nutty something. I really want to try the Irish Blend. I read the back of an already drunken can today and it was pretty amusing. It's not real alcohol ( because as the back said, try getting that past big brother.) but supposedly its pretty creamy ( Baileys.) and is awesome to the taste-buds.

So keep an eye peeled and tell me where you see it! I haven't been able to find any lately, and i've been looking!

Usagi Drop/To Love Ru

MANGA REVIEW OF THE WEEK!!

So this week i've actually read two mangas =P Or at least as much as I could find of them. So lets get started!

Manga: Usagi Drop

Grade: B

Reviewed by: Bunni.

First off, is a lovely manga called Usagi Drop. Its an ongoing manga by artist/author Unita Yumi about a young man named Daikichi who returns home for his grandfathers funeral only to discover the old man had an illegitimate LOVE CHILD!! She is 6 year old Rin, whose presence causes quite an embarrassment to all the relatives there apparently because nobody wants to adopt her and take care of her. Daikichi responds in a very annoyed manner and immediately offers the child his home. Next morning he realizes that this child is his arch enemy ( woman + child = arch enemy.) and he struggles through sudden parenthood in a very real yet humorous manner. The manga appears to be ongoing because I only managed to find four volumes so far, but it is enjoyable. Different in the fact that it's not some out of this world manga but more realistic, something that hits a little closer to home. Everybody at one point has dealt with a loss in their life, and suddenly things change and you find yourself wondering how the hell it happened and whats the best route from here...

It's a nice manga, and a refreshing read. I recommend it.

Manga: To-Love-Ru ( Trouble )

Grade: B+

So this manga is titled To-Love-Ru and it certainly covers all anime/manga fronts. The girls are all adorably cute, specially the main character named Lala who just so happens to be a space alien who came to earth after running away from Deviluke, her home planet ( hence the devil tail) and has decided to marry Rito Yuuki in order to avoid going home. Eventually she discovers she really does love Yuuki and goes about winning his love in every way she knows how, only to end up blowing him up or flinging him across the room on accident.

Rito Yuuki, however, is in love with another girl named from his high school, Haruna, who secretly loves him but of course, never told him. Series includes big boobed babes who grab each other, and even tends to lean a bit towards Hentai every now and then without going all sex on you. There is a wonderful underlying humor through the series however that carries it nicely along and allowed me ignore all the nearly porn business going on. The details are amazing and there is certainly a wide variety of angles to be seen, most of them up the skirt of some random female ( the artist does not discriminate.) It also covers all the fetishes so all you FETISH PEOPLE OUT THERE!! this is the one for you ( maids, bondage, aliens, magical girl, nerdy girl, sporty girl, hot killer, queen B, girl next door, super innocent girl...the list goes on.)

I gave this manga a B+ because although the story is a bit perverted, it does have a lovely humor and stylistic quality that is hard to ignore.

And apparently the show has gotten the anime treatment as well, so check it out.

I completely forgot O.O; And yet I wore green today... Awesome.

But, uh... Um... Uh... H... Happy... belated St. Patties day? :D Better late than never, right? Right? :D

 

I was kinda busy today,though! Went in to visit my mom at work for lunch and then we all went to dinner with my grandma! Ok, not really busy but it's not like I wasn't doing anything! T_T Uhm... and... I... didn't bake yummy green cupcakes like a certain someone did *pouts* but I did re-bake a pre-baked pie! :D Apple pie! I love pie. And! ... I'm pretending I put green sprinkles on it in my memories~

Hello Everybody!

Its Saint Patricks Day! Yay!!

Hope everybody is full of the irish cheer today =P
I made chocolate chip cupcakes with green frosting to celebrate todays event ^__^ They're mini-cupcakes! And everybody has already eaten up most of them before I was able to get my picture, but I took one really fast before they ate them all up. The icing is this icing called " dots" or something, and its so friggin good and has these little dots in them that are just delicious. Though the picture looks a little funky cause the dots are like, " Wth" lolz. But its SOOOO good. When I went to take the picture it smelled so good I almost ate another. Don't judge >>

But yeah, i'm all dressed up in my green Ireland shirt, have all my shamrock earrings in! ( Which amounts to six) and am wearing my green knee highs :3 I look so cute!! yaaaayyy!

Love you guys! Hope your Saint Patricks is amazing~
